November Appointments
I have an appointment today with the State Health person to sign up for Medicare. This is a free service offered in every state. Ours is administered by Senior services.
I just had my 6 month check up on Wednesday and Thursday and I’m doing well I’m starting to get feeling back on my right side. Bloodwork came back normal. In 6 months I will do my yearly MRI on the spine and brain
Glad to hear you're doing well.
Leslie
Did you have a good birthday? Blessings Jimeka 🦋
Thanks for remembering. I had a beautiful walk outside and saw my Chiro, talked with friends and family wishing me a happy birthday and received beautiful cards. Of course I swept the house a couple of times.
Did you not see your birthday post?
No I didn't see it.
Scroll down and you will see it, the post is called lbenmaor happy birthday. You have lots of good wishes, enjoy 🦋
My annual neuro appointment, which was scheduled 18 months ago, is on November 12th. Other than that, I will appointment free until the end of February!
Isn’t it nice to have a break from so many appointments? Though I’m grateful for good, attentive doctors, it’s a real job keeping up with all of them.
I have an MRI on Tuesday and My MS Specialist on the 20th. Had my labs drawn yesterday getting everything all lined out for the 20th. I have already been to my see my PCP this past Monday.
Went in two weeks ago to throat specialist and he wants a chest and neck x-ray for follow up on cancer ♋️. Also need to get a pet scan but waiting on it also. Looking for help with co-payments on both from Grants. Went to hospital yesterday and talked to the patient advocate and she gave me an application to fill out 👍. Most all of the Cancer places help with radiation and chemo but not co-pays 😖. Everything on hold right now? Did do blood work yesterday and see oncologist next Thursday? Life goes on....Just stay positive and pray 🙏👍🐾. Ken
Today, i going in for my 4 mo. Follow up to my neuro. She's great, & Praise YAH!🙏💐 we may get to move out of this place that is making me Progress (environmentally) 😕 but yay! Our landlord just gave us our 30 day notice!!😃hope & Pray we get this new place to move into.🙏🙏🙏💐 Love Ya!💗❤---Jazzy🌹💜
Have triple MRIs on the 20th.
Thorassic MRI, blood work to go back on Rituxomab.
Had to reschedule my MRI appointments for brain today and spine tomorrow. Rotten head cold 🤒😷coughing and sneezing so I wouldn't be able to stay still in there. Will get them done on the 14th and the 17th this month. Also have PT/OT on the 7th.
The 7th I have my 2 week Chiro appt and on the 9th I have my 4-month Neuro checkup.

6th counseling appt. 15th ocrevus infusion. 28th neuro appt.
15th? How long have you been on it? Is it doing any good? Blessings Jimeka
dailygrump40 I’m curious too...I dont know others on Ocrevus that long. Were you in a study for Ocrevus?
Well I am having my one year Ocrevus infusion on November 9 then the week after that I am having my infusion for osteoporosis.
What does the osteoporosis infusion involve? 🦋
Well I tried to take the pill form once a week but it upset my stomach. So I now take an infusion once a year it takes about a little over an hour and doesn’t upset my stomach.
November 6, 2018 I have an appointment to get my Rituxan Infusion @ 10:am. 😊❤🌷
I have unscheduled appointments. Seriously! My calendar is clear, because I haven't taken the time to call/email/mental telepathy or what have you to my various providers. I will email to get a brain MRI scheduled. I will call to schedule my well adult exam. The latter I never like, since I have to starve myself for all the blood draws my PCP will want. I, lovingly, refer to this time of year as time for all the fat shaming to begin.
Doctor 1: You're fat.
Me: Okay.
Doctor 2: Weight loss doesn't get any easier.
Me: Okay.
Doctor 3: You need to lose weight.
Me: OKAY...SHUT UP!
I don't really say the above, but boy it runs through my mind.
I am seeing a new neurologist because my old one is not what I need. I also have appointments with my psyche doctor and my therapist and my old neurologist just in case the new neurologist doesn't work out. However I hope it does and I can cancel that appointment.
I have an mri for my head and neck with and without contrast to see if there are any new active lesions since I started meds. Then I meet with my neurologist to see the results of the mri. Hoping there aren’t any new lesions and the meds are helping
The only appointment I have this month is for a blood draw as part of DigitalMe, a testing program with PatientsLikeMe.
It's not exactly an appointment, more like a must-do. My GP just texted me, saying that I need to have a urinalysis done NOW. I have had a multitude of UTI's in my life, including one time years ago when it went to my kidneys. Sunday texts have that implied level of urgency such that I'm planning on heading over to the lab tomorrow!
A recently retired nurse that I had been friends with several years ago stopped by for lunch yesterday. I was delighted to see her, and after a quick snack I took her out in my wee back yard and showed her around. She grabbed my rake, and immediately began clearing up my accumulation of pine cones! I demurred, and tried to take the rake back, but she said that she'd rather do this for me than see me fall again and get yet another concussion! Thanks Maria, but really it wasn't necessary!
The 27th MRI and Neuros. 😒 This one better go better than the last one is all I'm saying!😒😠😞
