Who has appointments this month? It's so nice that we care about one another and share with one another. I had an MRI last month with no new lesions! I know there are many of us who have upcoming tests or appointments.

I have a appt with pain management dr on October 10. Quiet month for me.

Pretty much. But all this stuff has put my MS in overdrive especially the fatigue and balance. But except for a bit of a cough the cold is better.

No appointments for me. I'm still waiting for Open Enrollment on Insurance so I can make an appointment with my Neuro. It's been so long. 😕❤🌷

Thank you. We were worried that a new numbness in my left hand meant new lesions. It turns out that I was quilting too much! I figured out I was cutting fabric and leaning on my left elbow, putting pressure on the ulnar nerve. I'm glad that's all it was. It's easier to adjust our habits than deal with a lesion!

Finally got insurance so able to see my neurologist this month in over a year

That's great news! If you don't mind me asking, which insurance? Because everytime I try to get insurance they always say that since I have a chronic illness "MS" that I have to wait for Open enrollment. 😕❤🌷
Fortunately unfortunate for me disability, so Medicaid. So not a reassuring consultation! Went from working with my hands to trying to work at this mental game! At least open enrollment is nigh.
Went to throat specialist yesterday and he scope my throat and said things were looking better, but wants a neck and chest x-ray? In a couple weeks I go in for my pet-scan for Cancer 🙏. Then the following week Oncologist for results?🙏. Hope everyone has a wonderful day 👍🙏🐾😉🎃 Ken

Gotta' love the same 'ol MRI reports. Good to hear yours came back the same.
Have an eye doc appointment this Friday. Fairly certain he'll send me off to the ophthalmology clinic for a harmless OCT scan. It's the beginning of end of year appointments. Woot!

You're not alone. I have an OCT scan, Visual Field, and Eye Dr. appts. on the same day. I walk before my appts.
have notes written down and pack a bag since it takes a long time. My eyes are very important to me!! Then to make it even harder I get the bill.

I had my yearly mammogram yesterday and found out the same day all was clear and appt for next year is on the books! Have my 2-week chiro appt on the 10th! Horray for no new lesions!

I have my chiro appts. every 2wks. I 'm taking my son to all his medical and dental appointments. Until he gets his drivers license I escort him to college where I do my walking.

I had one appointment this month and had it earlier today. It's nice to not have doctor appointments. Have a great rest of the month, best wishes to everyone.

greaterexp I have appt. on the 16th with my MS Neuro. It is just one of my regular 6 month check-ups. I had the Neurophysiological testing in July and the report from that is that he sees no outward signs of Alzheimer's disease, which is a concern in my family. Dr. also says my retention is good, focus is good, I did well on the timed tests. Overall, doing great for my age. At my April appt. my MS neuro said the results of those tests would help decide if I should or could possibly go onto a DMT. He has suggested possibly Rituximab as it has a proven track record and he would be willing to "go to bat, pull strings," for me. There are those that believe DMT's after age 70 don't offer much improvement.
I'd appreciate any feedback any of you might have.
I know most of the clinical trials are aimed at younger people. I feel that treating MS aggressively at any age may prevent relapses or slow progression, but it is surely up to each individual to decide. Insurance companies tend to see little value in lives over a certain age and can be reluctant to invest money there. I’m glad that your doctor is willing to go to bat for you if you choose to treat your MS with meds.

Thank you! I'm not going to worry about it too much. If I recall from my April appointment, he said I'd still have to take my "Symptomatic Meds" for numbness and tingling.. that's a bummer.. but of course, MS is a bummer!😊😊
