I was not feeling right today. Like I was high and a bit foggy. I sat down and felt like I was sinking into the floor. While making food in the kitchen I turned around and the vertigo kicked in. I felt like I kept turning and then fell hitting my head. I felt like water was running down my head and body. I'm still a bit wobbly on my legs.
My doctor keeps calling asking if I have heard from the neurologist yet. Still nothing. She is is getting frustrated too.

I'm so sorry to hear about your fall and feeling bad. I sure hope you get a call from your doctor and can find out what you should do. I hope it passes and was just a one time thing. If you start feeling like that again maybe try to quickly sit on the floor so you don't fall again.
I’m so sorry 😐 you fell....Prayers for you 🙏🙏
I know that “wobbly” and “not feeling right feeling”
I'm fine. No neuro yet. They are really bogged down and have a significant backlog. My husband is here now. I haven't had a spell like this for a while but it's happened before.
oh my,so sorry, welcome to the falling down club,i am sorry for the initiation, like other folks i fall all the time and the quickest way for me is to turn suddenly,my head or body,i want to move quick,i have learned how to fall for me without hurting anything i hope but how is the head?
Okay, it's 16 hours since you posted you fell, you hopefully are fine???? BUT, I learned from a friend after I fell, hitting my head, was taken to the ER, thought it stupid. The ER didn't. My friend I told the next day. Told me, remember my dad? He fell, thought he was fine, did nothing. Went to bed after up all day after the fall, didn't wake the next morning. A brain bleed did him in. So NO, never take head injuries lightly. Better to be checked out, than die.
I'm so glad you didn't add to your problems with injuries from the fall. How frustrating that you can't get anything from the neurologist. I wonder if a trip to ER would hasten his/her response. This is something new, isn't it?
When my vertigo was at its worst, I just had to use the rollator everywhere I went - even just a step or two. I hated needing it, but dreaded a fall. I hope you have some help and something to keep you from falling.
Please take extra care and let us know how you're getting along.
Thanks, the vertigo thing has been a long time issue of the past 12 years but on the last two year have they become so bad I landed in the ER or fell. Just having an off kilter week or so. The ER here is no place to be right now. The neurology office is 3 hours away so that's a no go. Just taking it easy for now.
