I tested positive on the 11th and I am scheduled for surgery Dec1. It is an 10-20min outpatient surgery. I haven’t had a chance to talk to my Doctor yet.

Probably just test you again a few days before surgery. Good luck 👍🙏😉 Ken 🐾🐾

Tested positive for Covid? How are you feeling? Make sure your doctors know this, especially the surgeon.

Yep, for COVID. Feeling run down, extra fatigue, like my allergies are in over drive, bad cough, etc. I’m planning on calling tomorrow.

At the moment you need to take care of you. Make the doc aware that you have COVID but you need to relax, and rest and get well. Having an op on top of having had COVID will wear you down, is the op something you can postpone for a while? Let us know how you get on, stay safe, blessings Jimeka 😊

there is always a wrench in the monkeyworks!I wish you the best but maybe, just maybe you are not supposed to have the procedure right now,i always thought if it became too hard to do and things getting in the way, maybe you weren't suppose to have it that day.that's just me though, listen to your dr!!.

If the surgery isn't essential, it makes sense to wait and postpone. Surgery, even minor, puts an additional stress on your already compromised immune system, now doubly so with the virus and MS. Check with your MS neurologist.

I need cataract surgery (outpatient, brief) but my neuro ophthalmologist (who sees many MS patients) will not do it until the pandemic is declared over; too many risks involved.

Oh no 🙉

They tested me twice, prior to my surgery....

Be sure to call your surgeon

Best wishes and prayers 🙏

As other said, call the surgeon and let them know. They will retest you a couple days before surgery. Good luck. Keep us updated. Hope you feel better.

I agree with the above. I think the surgeon will postpone which is a very good idea. Deal with one thing at a time!
