I'm sitting here in the infusion center waiting for the Ocrevus infusion. They already have me they steroids just waiting to start the infusion. One nice thing is they got all new recliners that are actually comfortable.... Sorry for the interruption, they just came to start my IV. So its about 4 hrs from now that I get to leave & spend 2 more hours going home. Yeah!

Hope everything goes well.
Here's to wishing you a tail wind with this Ocrevus and you get out sooner rather than later, hairbrain4
I'm thinking bout switching from tecfidera to ocrevus because it doesn't have the s/e of PML!

I wish Techfedera would have worked for me. I had too many flare-ups when I was taking it. Wasn't real fond of have to have a blood draw every month either but it was a lot easier than injections. Even the 2x a year with Ocrevus is easy except for the whole day it takes for me and the person that drives me. We live 2 hours away from the infusion center and it takes about 4 hours for the whole infusion process from arrival to departure. You just need to weigh your priorities. The other thing about Ocrevus, it doesn't fall under the Drug part of your insurance. On mine, it falls under the Outpatient drugs. So now I never meet the max on my Drug deductible and have to pay more for my other meds.
Thanks for the info😊
As for having a long infusion stay , I used to take tysabri for 7 yrs......
4 hr minimal stay cause you had to wait for your liver blood work to come back. So,I'm used to it- so to speak. Therefore , ocrevus " Here I Come!!!

Goodness, I hope I never have to do that. I'd hate sitting around for that long plus I am Such a bad stick...
I know, I hate just sitting. It seems like such a waste of time! I take crocheting & a book so I'm at least being productive a little. It would be kind of hard to quilt since I quilt on a machine and not by hand, not mention there isn't that much room. I had one trip that it took 7 sticks before they found a spot that would work. After that, I made sure that I was OVERLY hydrated and it has made all the difference in the world. The last 2 times they have been able to get it the first time.
