Welp, I’ve decided to embark on an acceptance tour...that’s right! I’ll be traveling to Europe, France, Amsterdam! All by myself!

God sends all the help I need when I need it, so I’m off.

My tour begins in 2 weeks. Tickets booked!

MS can kiss my cute little butt!

💪🏾👊🏾 Watch me win, with God, we all can be winners!

Are you renting the scooter or taking you own? My scooter rep told me it was better to rent when flying because the airlines can and have damaged scooters.

I’m going to rent. I didn’t want anything to happen to mine.

Maybe we could meet up. I live a 1.5 hour drive from Peterborough. What dates are you there?

How thrilling! I admire your bravery and faith. We are going on an Alaskan cruise soon, and I’m a little nervous, but I know God will take care of us. It helps that the couple we are traveling with is older, and the wife has numerous health issues. They will be very understanding of my limitations.

Have a marvelous adventure!! I hope you get to meet jimeka!

Me too!!! I’m making it a point to make this forum come to life by meeting her!!

This journey with MS is a mental game! So sick of MD trying to bust me up! Lol

Yes, I’m covered. I thank God for that!

I hope you have a "time of your life" trip. Does your insurance cover you when you are overseas or do you have to take out special insurance? Just wondering....

Hi Kathy,

I can't see your reply to my question. When I looked under your name to see if I was missing something, I see that you're in VA. So am I!! Where in VA do you live? I live in Williamsburg.

I just moved out of my apartment in Newport News. I’m staying with my friend here in Waldorf.

What is an "acceptance tour"? My husband and I are planning to go back to Europe next year for a vacation. I have super dear German friends who we'll get to see again. I'm concerned about walking as I can, but not very far. How is your mobility and how are you addressing that?

The “acceptance tour” is the label I’ve decided give my upcoming journey. I have literally, and wholeheartedly, learned to push and live with MS. I’ve accepted the fact that it is not my fault, and that it can’t control my life. I’m accepting my limitations, and I’ve learned how to do what I want anyway! How dare MS try to stop me! I’m a child of God, and I want everyone to watch God carry me safely around this world!

I can walk...with my brace. I also have a stick, and rollator. I plan to rent a scooter when I arrive.

I’m a Navy Vet, and I plan on staying near the base with my ex who is active duty.

You will do great. I was diagnosed about 16 years ago and the told me I should go out on disability, of course I said No. still working am currently a VP in a major IT company and travel at least 3 weeks out of every months, both domestic and international. Every where from Europe, Asia, including India and South America. I will not let MS get me down.
