Why did I have frost on my car this morning and it was 30. Its too soon for all of this. I may need to move to a warmer weather state lol. Not good for my ms and Raynaud's. The cold affects me worse than the heat. Happy Monday everyone. God Bless everyone. I plan on winning but to all of you out there, There is a lot of money to be won. I'm sure all of us could use it. Good Luck if your playing the Mega Million/billion

LissaH . The cold affects me worse than the heat to. I spent this hot hot summer outside soaking up heat getting warm from last summer especially my feet.
It broke my heart last Thursday to have to put on socks and shoes for the first time since May.
I don't think I could afford those places. The better the weather, the higher the cost of living. Oregon is pretty mild in many spots, but I'll still have to shiver and sweat.
We donโt have fall in IN. One day 70, next 30. The leaves donโt bother changing, they just fall off. ๐ I have to make sure the wind is going to not be 25mph before I can put up my Halloween decor ๐
So far here in NJ we went straight from summer to winter also. Our leaves are not as pretty as they are usually. Yes, I noticed also that they are just falling from the trees still green with a little yellow in them.
My boyfriend just ordered me a coat that is warmed with batteries for my late birthday presents and the pockets are heated also. I can't wait to try it out. I will let you know when I get it if it works or not.
funny you should say that because my job stays so cold he actually said can you wear this at work. I figured since your always cold there is will help. I told him yes I sure will wear it inside. That's too funny.
We have been having fall here in Idaho for the last two weeks โIndian summer โ. Suppose to stay in 60โs for the next week ๐๐ค. Love this time of year, trees ๐ณ changing and just the right temperature 70โs๐. Sure hope it continues for awhile ๐๐พ๐. Ken ๐
Iโm in Georgia , orig from Wisconsin. , sometimes wish I was still there , but only in the summer. Lol. Too hot for me down here!!! It affects me terribly in the summer here. One thing I donโt understand and have never heard of, and those of you who have said cold affects you , how does it affect you ? In what way with MS ?
Thanks to all for their info. Iโm new to this forum and love it.
The cold just soaks into your body and bones. Always have to wear extra clothes even inside. A lot of the time Iโll have insulated underwear and sweatpants on inside with an insulated flannel shirt. I wear polar insulated socks and still have feet wrapped in a blanket and sometimes a heating pad. And going outside is even worse. Insulated jacket or coveralls and insulated boots are standard.
Can you believe Alabama does not have the lottery, going to have to drive across the state line! it was 39 degrees here and I forgot about raynauds until was driving somewhere, how soon we forget
@Kjsiebe, I could type a book about what the cold does to me but I will try to keep it short. Well like Donnie said constant pain straight to the bone, even with just a touch of coldness in the air. That includes moisture Uhg what a killer for me. Every muscle, bone, eyelid, and toenail hurts I have the double whammy because of my Raynaud's with that I feel like every bone in my body is going to shatter if I move. When the Raynaud's take over I can't walk or use my hands until I get them warm and get the blood to flow through them again. The pain is unbearable and unlike anything, you ever felt unless you ever experienced frostbite. That's why spring and summer are my favorite months. I love warm weather. It makes me very tired but I'm not in much pain with it.
But I'm thankful to wake up every morning and still be able to do all that I can do. It may take me longer, in pain and I may need more breaks and a nap but I am able. some days are harder than the next, but I do have my good days and I do all I can do while I can and I enjoy every min of it for as long as I can.
