Does this scare you? ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO. This is the second best way to travel, cruising being the first. You make sure that when you book you ask for an Aisle seat with the bathroom 2 rows infront of you. Be insistent upon this. You get wheelchair assist from Checkin to the aircraft and returning from the gate to baggage pickup, then to the curb. If you cannot walk down the jetway they will take you even to your seat actually. No waiting in lines for you ever again my friends. Ask for a special meal if you need it and make sure that you warn the crew about any needs you may have.

Use that really powerful instrument on your face and SPEAK, tell them what you want and they are very willing to help. Also be sure that in the airports you know exactly where the toilet facilities are. Of course ALWAYS wear your Adult Depends, but you do this anyway, don't you. You have ms so you make boy scouts, embarrassed because you ARE ALWAYS PREPARED for ANYTHING. Of course you do have a letter from your euros office saying that you have ms, and maybe saying many medicines you are carrying. I actually wrote mine years ago & have never had to show it. I do avoid carrying needles, that is just smart these days, but if I did I carry very few and always have them in the original package, t is best when going through customs to speak up first and fast and tell a tale or two about the medicine being very light and heat sensitive.

A little bit of planning, thinking and speaking opens so many doors in this journey. Do not go into seclusion until you really have to, we can really do lots and lots if wee just give it a little thought, first.

Good advice Royce. I traveled on a plane once with Copaxone needles plus a letter from my doctor and got through customs in record time! But you have to prepare. All I can add to what you posted is that a wheelchair is waiting for you at your final destination or connection. I order one when I make the reservation but always ask anyway. BE PREPARED.

Good point, should be part of your preparation really, makes life so much easier.

Thanks, Royce. I worried about my most recent trip home, but other than a couple of glitches, we made it. I'm glad I didn't give in to thinking that I just wouldn't be able to manage it.

I went to visit my son and his family in January I am in a wheelchair I had my son call to get the tickets, I paid for them, when he called he let them know I am in a wheelchair which meant I needed help getting on the plane ✈️

and getting to my seat wheelchairs don’t fit on the plane there is a special chair that I had to be transferred to. My wheelchair had to be put in cargo you need to have to let the airline know about it. One big thing ok ther is more

KEEP ALL YOUR MEDICINES IN YOUR CARRY ON BAG. with my wheelchair I took the foot brackets off and put them in my carry on bag.

Have a great flight!
