jimeka This is for you sweetie. My kitty Boston and his play kitty. Can't believe I found the stuffed one in a thrift store. Yes, our sweet kitty gets lots of love every day including belly rubs, ear massages, feet massages and hugs, he loves it all. Now, this is the honest truth of what happened about 3 weeks ago. It looked to me like he had an eye infection. His regular vet was booked up and recommended another local vet. I got him in the same day. We've had this kitty about 6 1/2 yrs, adopted him when he showed up at friends house. No collar. I posted found kitty pics for a month as we fell in love with this big guy. Anyway, new vet checked him for a chip. I never ever even gave thought that he might be chipped. He's chipped!!! The vet's office left messages on the phone numbers and said they'd let us know. I cried, prayed all night. Vet's office called and wanted us at their office with the kitty by 8:00AM. That gave me 20 minutes to dress, forget about MS and meds, pack up the kitty and we got there in time. The prior owners were there. A nice young couple that were as stunned and shocked as we were. After many tears, hugs, kitty cuddles, they told us he was our kitty. They had him for 2 years and we'd had him 6 years and they could tell he was well taken care of and was now ours! We traded phone #'s and she sent me what records she had of him and his kitten pics. He had a twin brother that disappeared approximately 2 years after our kitty had disappeared from their home. They figure a neighbor must of trapped and dumped them. We got him over 10 miles from where they live. They never heard anything about his brother. She now has another Tuxedo kitty, a little girl that is strictly an indoor kitty. So it all worked out and our big guy is just that much more precious. And we have a new vet and new friends.

Congratulations, pleased that you got to keep him. My vet scans my dog every year to make sure that it is still working, I think more vets should do it, especially over here because people steal dogs 🐕 for fighting. Would love to see them. Perhaps, I will contact John & Emily about figuring out how we could have a Pet & Hobby thread in our “Living with MS” thread. I will be checking as we all have somebody, a pet or hobby that gives us relief from thinking about MS 24 hours a day.
