As most of you know, my husband and I had to put our Daisy down March 31. Three weeks later it was our dear little kitty, he got what the vet called feline Alzheimer's. It was terrible. Now today I had to have our dear Affenpinscher Cody put down. He has cushing's disease for about the past four years. He started to have trouble breathing a couple days ago. He had a couple accidents in the kitchen,he never had one in the ten years we had him. Cushing's is pretty brutal and we feel so blessed we had so much time with him. He was a big love baby and always laid on me. I am just heartbroken. The sad thing too is we have two schnauzers who are quickly approaching their rainbow bridges. Please pray for my tears to dry up, it is so painful to lose a beloved friend. I love you all. Kelly

Lost my little Cody doggie today
Kelly - I am so sorry for your loss. It is always so hard to lose a beloved pet/family member. You are in my prayers. You can rest easy knowing he is no longer suffering and is running and playing in doggie heaven.
@amore55 yes it's been grievous days since 7/13 , when we put Mandi to sleep. Cushing Symdrone and kidney disease, and silver who had adopted Mandi as mommy(she was deserted on our porch) is as miserable as me! She won't even sleep in the house and runs if I try to pet her, like it is my fault! I could never get that attached to anotheec4?legged friend. I miss her most sleeping with me. We love you, too. May God grant you peace.
Amore55 Kelly, I'm so sorry. There are no good words so I will just say prayers. 💕Liz
So sorry to hear that, I loss my mom in December and then lost my dog in March. But you most think positive and remember they would want you to take care of yourself for how much loved you shared with them. It's never easy prayers and hugs being sent your way.
Amore55 , how sorry I am that you've gone through so much loss. So many others seem to be going through great losses, too. You've all obviously poured out love to these little friends and given them wonderful love and care as they have poured back into you all their sweetness., They give so much just by their presence.
God bless and comfort you while you grieve. I pray the pain is replaced by great memories.
greaterexp You are so right, it seems like there are many who have experienced losses. We love our doggies so much, they are precious to us. But when one starts to suffer and you know it is the end time, it is so important to be willing to let them go. You are such a dear friend, and I thank you for you kind words. Please take care of yourself and as always you are in my prayers. Kelly 💕
Amore55 you have suffered too much loss recently, I am so sorry for your loss.
Kelly, so sorry for that huge hole in your heart. Bless the two schnauzers that you have.
I am so sorry for your loss. After the death of a dog and cat we decided not to have anymore pets for awhile. Not sure when we'll be ready.
Amore55 you may not be together, in the way you used to be, but you are still connected by a cord no one can see. So whenever you need to find Cody, you're never far apart, if you look beyond the horizon, and listen to your heart. God bless, and I am so sorry, blessings, hugs, Jimeka 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Amore55 , So sorry you have lost your pet family. We had to put our 14 year old Shepherd down several years ago and were devastated. The vet said that too many people are selfish when it comes to pets and keep them alive for themselves instead of thinking what is best for their pet.
SueAB I agree with you, when it is time to let our little friends go we must do it. I would never want any of them to suffer even one hour that can be prevented. Thank you for your kind words. Kelly 💕
Amore55 So, so, sorry. I still think of our beloved Riley every day. Tears for you my friend.
So sad and sorry for your loss, Kelly : ( x
Amore55 Kelly, I'm so sorry about your sweet love bug, Cody. It is so, so painful when you loose one of your four-legged babies. I read a sweet sentiment once that I hope will put a smile on your face:
"God saw that it was necessary to give dogs four legs because they needed to be able to support such huge hearts." 💕
Blessings, Lisa

Thank you so much Lisa for your kind words. My husband and I loved the statement about dogs big hearts! It is so true, absolute unconditional love ❤️. You are very sweet and I thank you. Kelly
