Praise where praise is due!

I attended a Biogen sponsored lunch Friday, where the drug representative gave me much needed assistance, that kept me from running out of Tecfidera. I am praising God first, for working out all the details, in getting me to the event. Then, thanks to Biogen and their amazing response to my needs, the Rx was delivered today! My first year on Tecfidera was supplied free from Biogen, then the 2nd was covered by a grant from the PAN Foundation. Those funds were depleted Dec. 31st and I was having to try and cover the expense through my insurance. It wasn't working! I was due to run out of pills on Monday morning. The drug representative used his phone to call the company, connecting me to the right persons who then expedited the set up for my delivery. You absolutely cannot ask for more than that from any drug company! My last MRI showed no new lesions or activity. I highly recommend that you try Techfidera. And by the way, these Events put on by Biogen are very informative, put on by MS Neurologists, and they answer any questions you put forth. The Events are usually held at very nice restaurants, making it enjoyable to attend.

I’ve nothing but excellent things to say about Bigen’s sponsored events, but the way MS effects everyone differently I would say the same thing about the medication. I’m glad everything worked out for you and I only wish you the best.

4fishylady I'm so happy that they were able to help you like that!! I've wanted to attend one of their conferences but none of them are never near me...just webinars lately. So happy everything worked out for you to get your meds when you needed them!!

4fishylady, it's Fancy1959. Over the past several years I have attended numerous dinners and educational seminars provided by drug companies and their representatives. Besides the lovely restaurants and dinners they provide free of charge I have yet to go to one where I have not walked out learning something new! Many of the drug companies really go above and beyond to help support us MS patients with the drugs/therapies they produce. I'm glad you were able to received the support and assistance you needed. Every once in awhile it does feel like we have a guardian angel sitting on her shoulder helping us figure out we're we're getting the money for all our expenses MS drugs hand therapies!
