HAS ANYONE WHO IS ON TECFIDERA GOTTEN THE SHINGRIX VACCINE?

I was told by my neuro not to take it as the Tecfidera would negate its action. Has anyone who is using Tecfidera as a DMT gotten this vaccine? Did you get advice from your neuro first? How was the experience? Thanks to anyone who can answer this!

My neurologists said no live vaccines.

Mine, too, but he also said no to Shingrix, without really a good reason. I spoke to a pharmacist at Biogen who said it was safe for use with Tecfidera, and my new neuro said the same thing. I am so terrified of shingles that I am going to get it, but there is a nationwide shortage and back order so my pharmacy won't have it until the end of the month.
