Ocrevus, is it the right one for me?

Has anyone found after their first full dose of Ocrevus that mental clarity in thought and memory has dropped? I'm seriously having issues, not with hearing, but comprehending the words I hear. Has anyone else experienced this? Yes, I see the MS Doc on the 12th, but this rapid decline is scaring the heck out of me. I'm thinking back to Tecfidera, it wasn't great, but it didn't have the mental negatives.

haven't had that from ocrevus..... could it be from the stress of this basic lock down for having to stay at home ??...but of course just call the doctors office and ask ??? ...that is what i do when something seems a little odd going on and they will either give you an answer or they will ask the doctor for you ..at least that is what my doctors office does for me ,.she is a ms doctor that has specialized in it great doctor ...hopefully you have a ms doctor for my first doctor didn't know enough about it so it didn't do much good to ask him ,he usually would so no has nothing to do with ms for anything ..take care and much happiness ...the stress is bad anyway but with ms it is really hard on you ....so be careful think good thoughts for it sure does do some strange things to my body that i didn't have before but it is still cool ...just go with it ...new journey to follow ...

I haven't had that problem get worse, but better since Ocrevus. You may have something else going on. Talk to your neuro before you start to panic. It could just be stress.

No, and I have not heard of anyone on Ocrevus who has. I am not a doctor, but I understand this is not a known side effect. Call Genentech before you see your doctor, they have a list of side effects and a pharmacist for Ocrevus - 1-800-888-2882. I used to be on Tecfidera - it truly didn't do anything.

I would call my neuro to let them know of this latest development, jorrell I too, am on Ocrevus and I haven't experienced that. Previously, I was on Tecfidera, and like IFwczs , it truly did nothing for me. Matter of fact, I noticed while on Tecfidera, that it clouded my mood and judgement. :-D

I guess I’m the outlier so far. I expected good things from Ocrevus as a friend does. Now, I would have settled for just holding the line.

Since starting it my MS has had a field day. My balance is all but gone, my legs have failed me and my fatigue level is a downright shame.

It’s almost like that very expensive drug angered and kick-started the MS and the downward spiral of my abilities.

Since it has been mentioned my hearing is also worse but that can be contributed to age.

You asked and this has been my experience with Ocravus thus far. Had I know I would have gladly stayed on Rebif.

My biggest worry now is whether I should do Ocrevus again in May and risk becoming wheelchair-bound.

Best to you.
