Since surgery I haven't been out but around the block.Walked half a block and pushed laundry small loads but more of them.It worked. It was so nice to find the floor!cannot get medical field(cardio rehab) to understand that I cannot use my legs or severly pay for it.They at cardio expect to get legs on treadmill to 45 minutes at a time.I am home, and lucky the days I slow walk half a block.am I to go sit for 2 hours and return home.Im more mad they are not listening and wasting my time.I suggested cardio upper body(done this rodeo before) and evidently I'm not complying. Thus I may need to visit another doc to see why I'm upset.I QUIT>!I have physical therapy already...I am thankful to be alive but not bullied.i hate confrontation but if it will help the next person treated this way I will deal with it...In the meantime I am going to gentle my way in to upper body exercise.Does anyone have insurance pay for a trainer to come in home?TY..Love to see Holiday décor....We are going from around 50 degrees Boise area, Sun Valley Idaho gorgeous and in 2 days we go maybe single digits. Now too tired to enjoy much but it felt so good to play normal.

People need to realize that all MS’rs are not the same. If I exercise and heat up I start an acerbation and the it’s hell 😡 I’ll try, but I can only do so much. What about a home health nurse or hospice 🤷🏼‍♂️ I am glad to see the inversion gone and some ☀️ back. That helps my attitude. 👍😉❤️🙏 Ken. Also love the 🎄

Sorry that your PT isn't going well. Have you tried wearing ice? If not, it may give you some extra therapy minutes. It's suppose to be 50's here too, and next week - teens. The wind is peachy already.

jackiesj KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. Same problem here. 18 doctors and none listen to what i KNOW will help me. At 71, and pain since 4, I think I know. and each of them tell me another diagnosis, on top of the last one, and more meds. 21 different meds prescribed in 18 months. I am so DONE with the medical field. I am down to 4 meds, essential oils, and supplements. Your tree is beautiful. I try to walk a little bit, but every time the muscle spasms start in my calves. The PT says stretching only, but if I do those the wrong way, the calf muscle spasms start again. Trying a new form of magnesium. I will NOT give in to their doomsday predictions! I will remember the scripture, "Ye did run well; what hindereth thee?" I will not allow anyone to hinder me from going on until my Lord calls me Home! Grit. Determination. I will run well the race set before me (even if I must put sunglasses on, and use a cane, and cut financial corners - hand me the scissors, I can't find them!). Merry Christmas to one and all. May Jesus Christ fill your hearts with His Joy and His Peace!

My step-son is stuck in Boston right now. His uncle passed away, so he will be there a little while longer. He's been sending pictures of the snow!

I’ve been in pt since August. Thanks to MS diagnosis I qualified for 10 extra visits. I’ve got 3 more and I’ll be done. Just do what you can and to heck with the rest. Praying you get better soon.

Sounds to me like you are doing exactly as you should me to help your Recovery! YOU ARE LISTENING TO YOUR BODY! You know what you can do and when to stop. You'll know when you are ready for a little more and will do it then. In the last 15 years, I have had spinal laminectomy(OUCH), a spinal fusion, and a knee replacement. I was never out of pain from the first back surgery, after the fusion, I was riding my bicycle in 3 months! Knee replacement, riding bike after 9 weeks! Listen to your body and you will know when to add a little more to your therapy! Best to you! Lynn
