Good morning and Merry Christmas to you all who have become my second family. I thought I would share a picture of an afghan/blanket crocheted for me by my mom 50 or so years ago. It depicts the 12 days of Christmas and i take great delight in watching my 5 year old granddaughter, Emily, sing the song while pointing out each panel. Oh, how I wish my mom could see that, but sadly, she passed away from cancer when Emily's dad was only 7 - 30 years ago. Have a blessed day!

Isn’t that marvelous? I’m glad you can share a memory that is so sweet to you at least in a way with your granddaughter. Your mom would be thrilled to know you’ve cared for her blanket so well and that her great grandchildren are enjoying it.
