I wanted to let you know of an organic muscle relaxer I found it's called Arnica Capsicum.
I was looking for something to help relax my muscles and this woman overheard me asking my grandmother about a tea I found (Yogi Green Tea Muscle Recovery I chose not to do the tea since you can only use a tea bag twice and that tea is expensive 16 bags for $4). Well I have hit a home run with the Arnica Capsicum.
I have to warn you to be careful on where you purchase it. I was just curious to see how much it was on the web and it's costly. I paid only $9.60 for a bottle. On the web they want $13 and up.
You also have to be careful because when you purchase something like this on the web you have no way of knowing if it's the real thing.
I purchased mine from a store called Woodman's (here in Wisconsin and Illinois). I'm sure you can find it in the health food stores.
I spray it into my hands and rub it on the areas that needs it which is my entire right leg due to spasms. I have RRMS.
Like this morning my leg was extremely tight but after rubbing my leg with it, my leg immediately loosened up. I use it everyday.
I wanted to find something that would relax my muscles besides meds. My dr gave me the option to take tizanidine 4x's a day with the warning I have to be mindful of my liver. I don't know much about my liver and what it does but I do like it.

Well it sounds like your legs are a lot more stiffer than mine and I am not saying mine are not stiff I walk with a rollator which is a walker with wheels. It also could be that I am hesitant to try something that has to do with my legs because in the past I have used more than three different medicines that have made my legs feel like lead and then they didn’t come back to how they were before I started the medicine. I guess I will always have a fear of any new medicines.
Wow, thanks for the information. I wrote it down and we have a great healthstore in town. I take 20mg. Baclofen 2 X daily and it's reduced the spasms,(I still want to call them Charlie Horses) My legs get stiff as soon as I get out of bed in the morning. That sounds good to me and will definitely try it!
rjoneslaw Arnica has been around for awhile. Topical is pretty safe. I think just because it comes from a store rather than the Internet gives no guarantees--not regulated by FDA
Good to check purity via sites like labdoor.com and other credible sites
You are right there are no guarantees on anything. I am very cautious when it comes to anything. I have to do research and investigate it for myself. Just because someone says it doesn't make it true. Before I tell anyone about a new find believe me I have done my due diligence. I think that is the lawyer in me.
rjoneslaw Glad the spray is working for you. For the heck of it, I checked Amazon to see how much a bottle would cost since I have Amazon Prime and it looks like you got a great deal at Woodman's!
Jessie
p.s. I am from WI but now live in MI and Woodman's is a very overwhelming store for me because of the size of the store but glad you found a good deal on something that helps you with your spasms.
I have a Baclofen pump that releases Baclofen directly into my spine. Prior to the pump, I was taking so much Baclofen it affected my thinking and left me mentally lost.
The pump is very good and the amount of Baclofen can be increased by the doctor.
