Another infusion/article I found

Hi friends! I had a Rituximab infusion yesterday and it was the most successful one by far! I’m highly reactive and sensitive to infusions. I was previously on ofatumumab IV until the pharmaceutical company discontinued it and only offers it as kesimpta for home sub q injection (for 5x the price 🤔). My doctor was like there’s no way you can do that at home because of your reactions. Anyways, this was the first infusion where I actually got all the medication and I only had 2 mild reactions. Yay for small wins!

I was at the infusion center for 9 hours, so I had lots of time to browse the web. I came across this article and thought I’d share. It’s about how progressive resistance training was found to increase brain volume. It was a small study, but published in the MS journal. How interesting that exercise, specifically weight/resistance training may not only help MS symptoms, but add volume to our brains! When I mentioned to my husband, he was like we need to get a weight set tomorrow, lol!

Have a great weekend everyone! Hope you’re well. Blessings!

Yay for success!! 🎉 Resistance training would certainly slow volume loss.

I have been on Rituximab for about 3 years now and it has been going well. I haven't had any weird reactions and I'm allergic to everything.😜

That’s great! I hope to get there one day! I had 2 minor reactions, but it takes me about a week to recover from the infusion and reactions 😬❤️

U will, hang in there; especially if the treatment is working otherwise😜
