It sure looks like MS. Numbness and tingling in my hands and feet, the "MS hug" around my waist, incredible fatigue, gait problems, spastiity, brain fog, etc., etc.
But it's not. It is metronidazole / flagyl toixicity, meaning symptoms that occurred or continued after ingestion of the drug. There is an incredibly knowledgeable woman out there with a web site with exceptionally informative information, including the amazing array of symptoms this drug causes, including lesions visible on MRI. And that the length of time the drug is taken has no correlation with when symptoms occur or their intensity.
So -- given that the symptoms are so simiar AND given that lesions also occur, and most important -- that there is something you can do to vastly improve the situation --- if you would like to learn that this might possibly be something else, here is the website, which includes what you can do if this is your situation:

The first four videos document the very wide variety of symptoms, that may have caused a misdiagnosis of MS. And, BTW, I did not get my symptom set until five years after I had four days of flagyl. I had a severe intestinal illness that caused me to not be able to eat or ingest my usual supplements for a few weeks, which put me over the tipping point of a deficiency that is the cause of this symptom set. Hopefully for at least a few of you, this will be a light bulb.
All the best.
