Well my adventure started. I went last Thursday for my first dose of Ovruvis, did not receive it. After at least 15 pokes to get an IV, the nurse at the fusion center was unable to get it set. She said I needed to go home and drink lots if water, come back this Monday. I did what she asked.
I went back Monday morning very hydratedabd she could not set it. I am very hard to set an IV. I told her this last Thursday. My veins are tiny, roll and blow easy. I guess she thought she knew everything. She could not set an iv monday. I had decided she had 3 sticks before I stop her. She stopped herself. Got someone else. Boom first try IV set.
My MS Dr orders was 1 Tylenol, 1 benadryl and 125 mg of IV solunedrol before infusion.
Everything went well. It took 4+ hours. I had trouble sleeping that nite due to the steroids I'm sure. Tuesday I was feeling fatigued, but not terrible. Today Wednesday 2 days after infusion I felt good when I got up. Went with daughter in law to run a couple of errands. I am out of gas. I am in need of relaxation. My arm is tired of typing this.
I do not feel any plus or minus from the infusion. My understanding it takes 3 to 6 months to feel the affects. I go back Sept 4th for another dose. Then ever 6 months.

SlmHarris Keep us posted! I am so interested in this! Being I have PPMS. But like a car, I never buy the first model year! Praying that it works wonderfully for you!!!!
I cringed when I read about how many times you were stuck, SlmHarris . I'm so sorry. I go through the same thing. I hate getting stuck more than anything else. I'm happy the other person was able to get your IV going and that you are doing 'okay.' Maybe you can request that person the next time. Rest up. Praying the Ocrevus shows some improvement for you after some time. Thank you for keeping us informed. 💕
SlmHarris , ouch, so sorry getting the IV in place was so difficult, but congrats on completing your initial dose. I'm glad that you're aware that it takes some time to start to work, patience is important with this type of treatment. Keep us updated on how you're doing and best of luck to you. 😊🍀
SimHarris: Hope and pray it works well. It's been almost a month since my second infusion. I feel okay but still weak and fatigue fairly quickly. Keep us posted.
