For those who use them...does it get easier to coordinate with time?

I've tried them out 3-4 times and the effort to coordinate my arms and legs is exhausting me. These days it takes my brain longer to grasp new things so if you tell me this does get. Easier, I'll keep trying? In the mean time, they're resting in a corner taunting me 😬

erash Can you just use one? That's what I do up here on the sloping mountain terrain, or I'd be falling over. Using 2 is way harder.

I will give that a try too...although after reading jimeka post i was encouraged and I gave it another try this afternoon and it was a bit more comfortable...I just have to get mark to slow down! 🐒

Def. felt more secure when I wobbled.

It becomes second nature. You don't even think of it, it becomes a natural reflex. Give it time, and practice. It doesn't take all that long.

It does get easier once you get the rhythm down. I use them for longer walks because I do need to get the rhythm down each time I use them

I would love to use a walking stick, but arthritis in both hands, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to grasp it safely. I'm please with my very pretty colorful cane with butterflies and a cushioned handle. So far, I just use it when it's raining or has been.

CalfeeChick actually I haven't had the chance or fortunately the need to try them more. Initially trying to coordinate walking with sticks was exhausting for me. Someday, I will try them again. Cane feel easier to me for now.

Using a rollator greatly helped my posture, as well as my walking. At home I just got used to walking like a toddler.
