Hi everyone looking forward to help others and get some tips as well for dealing with Heath related OCD and Anxiety. I have had since 1976 and have had 30 plus years of good times until 3 years ago it came soaring back. Have been working with a Psychiatrist and CBT specialist last 2 months, learned a lot and wish I would have 3 years ago when it came back it’s really helping. Back in the day the care was terrible and they did more harm than good. It’s come a very long ways.,

Welcome!
Welcome, and yes, knowledge about OCD and treatment for it has evolved for the better. There is still more to learn though.
Welcome to the group. I was diagnosed with adhd, learning disability, and slightly dyslexic at the age of 6. I'm 43 now. In my mid 20's I was diagnosed with anxiety issues. I take two different pills a day for the anxiety and sleeping pills at night. I like to bake. I've noticed that baking can help me deal with my anxiety. Sine it's a creative activity and you get to eat what you baked. Board games are something else that I do that helps me with my social anxiety. I've joined a few months a go a board game group. The problem is that no one there is my age. They're in their 50's and up. That's life.
