Having OCD is a lot like listening to Mambo No. 5.

For whatever reason, I've always kind of struggled with traditional mental health talk and therapy speak. Overly serious/polite/earnest stuff has never really resonated with me and I always wished there was stuff out there about OCD/mental health that was a bit more irreverent/absurd/lighthearted. So about a yearish ago I started writing about my experience with OCD but through a lens of "here's this distressing, isolating, and absurdly dark disorder, but by highlighting and laughing about the absurdity of it all, we can take a bit of its power away." If this piques your interest, I'd be stoked if you check it out--I posted a link to one of my articles below.

Hopefully it's cool to post this, if not my bad--just lemme know and I can delete!
