For 2 years I have always had the word absurd in front of my eyes and I'm tired of this now. I can not do anything I love. it seems like this word will never go out of my sight. Medication didn't work. I am currently receiving emdr therapy, it has helped a little but it cannot destroy the word. What do you think about tms or ect treatments? or do you think surgery will work?

I had a teacher once with a seizure disorder and he said he always knew when he was going to get a seizure because he would start getting words running through his head like "rip, tear, shred," etc. I don't know about ECT or surgery for this, but I think it's worth talking with a neurologist. It sounds exhausting to live with.
