Looking for OCD Psychologist

I’m looking for a therapist who specializes in ocd. I have seen so many great people but they just don’t understand OCD to it’s core. I cannot find anyone in my community. I live in Canada and am open to seeing someone via zoom etc. Does anyone have suggestions! I’m desperate to feel better.

Check out the practitioners on the International OCD Foundation website. Most or all are seeing clients via zoom or FaceTime or other computer-based meeting apps, so you don’t have to find one near you. You can talk to them from home. Go to iocdf.org, go to the main menu and click on “Find Help”, type in your zip code and press the “Find Help” button to see a list of psychologists, psychiatrists, etc. who understand OCD. I really have had terrible luck with psychologists no offense to anyone but psychiatrists I feel know the meds better and have so much more at their disposal with them. Highly recommend a psychiatrist and therapist.
