I’m a 62 year old male. I’ve been battling OCD since grade school. It really took off in my early twenties. I’ve tried many SSRI drugs, but now I’m taking Lexapro. My OCD was been bad enough that I wasn’t able to work, and now I’m on disability (SSDI). I’ve missed a lot of periods of employment, so I don’t get much benefits. I keep trying.

Always keep trying! Luvox at 200 mg helps me. I also added NAC 2000 mg daily recently. I believe that SSRIs help but at a higher dosage for OCD. Also, Dr. Clare Weekes approach is helpful too. God bless!

Thanks!
Never ever give up. I'm 25 and I've lived with OCD my entire life. I'm fortunate to say I've beaten my OCD. Not that it doesn't affect me anymore but I can live the life of my dreams. Any question you have, ask away!
Please share what has helped you. ERP? Meds? Keeping busy? If meds, specific names please.
Yep keep trying!
Hang in there!
