OCD as per me

OCD is a disease which interferes our "fight Or flight" managing system. It switches on fight Or flight mode on even if there is no danger. It's chemical actions which we can't control but can manage. Best way is to prevent Or postpone ur response (ERP) when u alerted that there's some danger. Bcoz of this we start believing in some unrealistic danger. "Fight Or flight" mode means the response of our body if we Saw a tiger. Our blood starts flowing fastly so that we can run fastly.

Movement of body works for me. I believe that if if our "fight or flight" mode is on we are supposed to move our body. If I didn't do any movement or exercise it creates nervousness in me. Whenever I feel my anxiety triggered by OCD I try to do some exercise or work which includes movement. Study doesn't require any movement so I stops study tries to do some movement. It stabilizes my nervousness. I think different people have different things which can work for them. Every person is unique. So, solutions might be unique as well. We should know the real self.

This is one reason why people with OCD are so tired all the time! Their body is in constant Fight or Flight mode, which is exhausting. I like the solution of movement - will try that more often. Thanks!

Sound sleep is necessary for us. We should take enough rest to minimize the exhaustion due to OCD.
