I planned to undergo tms for severe depression episode of my bipolar. After discussing this with dr. It could have made my depression worse. I think that it is for clinical depression only. I might add that I went through ect treatment therapy to no avail. Very intrusive procedure that ect.

I received TMS treatment last year, after experiencing considerable depression for about six months. Medications were not effective. The TMS treatment was quite helpful and I would recommend it for consideration.

Trans magnetic stimulation it uses magnets in like a hairdryer helmet to send magnetic stimuli into your head it is non invasive doesn’t hurt feels like little hammers hitting on your head nothing too intense if you have any other questions let me know thanks

Thank you for your prompt reply. Does it help or work. I have severe OCD of excessive handwashing. I am having CBT it feels nice to talk but hasn't benefited me much. I am going to try ERP soon but I'm feeling so nervous the thought of touching a toilet flush and not washing my hands will make me handwash excessively. Can TMS help with this?
