Hi all, for the first time in 12 year bf and I can afford a holiday abroad. I have pv/ mf and I’m 81 with several other ongoing health conditions. Stay sure turned me down, I have a v expensive quote from the Coop, any suggestions please. Thank you, Mal

hello I’m travelling to Japan next week and have been very worried about getting good travel insurance cover, I’m 73 with Thrombocythemia + jak2. I’ve done a lot of research it’s seems age is as much an issue as complaints. A family member used All Clear and did get a refund, eventually, when they had to cancel. A lot of people get insurance through their banks. Unfortunately is isn’t cheap, it can be £800 + but the most important things are to include everything medical and to thoroughly read all the paperwork when you decide. If you’re going to Europe make sure you get a global health card. You should be able to enjoy a holiday at 81, I hope I’ll still be travelling at that age. Look at the list MPN have sent you too, it is a minefield but try not to over think it and just do it, very few people need to claim apparently.
