Hi. Can anybody offer advice on who they have had travel insurance through please. I have myelofibrosis and was insured the last couple of years on a family worldwide multi trip insurance but am struggling to get any this year for some reason. The company I was with last year can insure me again but it’s double the cost. I have never claimed on insurance and my circumstances haven’t changed (no unplanned hospital visits etc) so can’t understand why such a large price increase?! I’ve also looked just to insure myself and then do my husband and children separately but I can’t even find 1 just for me. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Travel Insurance
hi I have used All Clear. I have ET
hello. I have used Staysure. The cost have increased this year. I have PV.
Take carex
Staysure and Avanti are administered by Ergo Travel Ltd and claims are handled by Davies Group.
Be aware they take months to process claims. It is impossible to get through to the claims department by phone.
I have recently experienced this. I had to pay a very large medical bill myself, then wait 4 months for this inefficient bunch to reimburse me. In the meantime I was forced to use savings.
For this reason I would not recommend them.
Stay away from any companies that are administered by Ergo Travel Ltd and Davies Group. Check the small print.
Saga is good but more expensive as well
I use Able travel, they answer the phone and staff are generally bright, haven’t had to claim yet though
We have used stay sure but we found INSURANCE WITH a lot cheaper my husband has MF . I would care all his bloods are in normal range . It's absolutely discrimination how these insurance companies Rob people.
