I received a very long e mail from a Matt Hancock yesterday regarding the new instructions due to being clinically extremely vulnerable due to suffering PV and taking hydroxycarbamide and aspirin. In the e mail he states we can obtain vitamin d supplement from the government do you know if this is ok due to my condition thank you

I have opted to get Vit D - (I have PV and taking aspirin and Hydroxycarbamide).

If you go to the opt-in website, it tells you who should NOT be opting in - and it does not include us as being advised against.

Hi Hughley hope you are keeping well. My name is Marilyn and I’m on the MPN Voice Team. Maz is having a well deserved break this week. Just a bit about me, I’ve got ET and have been on Hydroxycarbamide and Asprin for 11 years.Yes it is OK for us to take Vitamin D at the recommended dose. Here in the U.K., the sun from September to March, isn’t strong enough to give us a Vitamin D boost. Always remember to read the instructions, so that it can be full absorbed by the body. Hope this has helped. Have a great week.

Hi, I've had ET for 11 years, been on Hydroxy carbamide, Anagrelide & now on Peg/Interferon 135mg. My Haematologist advised vitamin D & have been taking it 4 years now & no problems. Take care.
