Hi

I noticed a trail on here a few days ago regarding critical illness cover. Could someone direct me to the link so I could get the info off

If you type in critical illness to the search you should find most of the previous posts.

I successfully claimed. All I did was contact my insurance and they sent a pack for my consultant to complete.

I have a diagnosis of PV and I'm jak2 positive.

I had critical illness cover for years and never even considered making a claim until I read a post on the forum.

I phoned my insurance company and spoke to a member of the claims team, who took some details of my condition (ET Jak2+), medication that I took and the date of diagnosis. The claims department then sent a form for further information to my consultant.

The claim was paid out within a few weeks.

I have ET Cal-R mutation and made a successful claim with Aviva last year. There’s been lots of successful claims I’ve read about on this forum so hopefully you’ll be successful too. 🤞🏼
