This is interesting ... I was having 3 x standard interferon injections per week and stopped taking it for 5 weeks when I couldn't handle the side effects any more. Had specialist appt & decided to trial once a week from 27.10.19. Platelet counts were 311 then went up to 461. After a month of weekly injections they have come down to 384. This is amazing news for me as I cannot tolerate any other meds and was declined funding for pegylated interferon.
I do realise there is a normal variance in platelets but this may well be an option for others in the same boat.👏

Interesting !! Cause I've been just having a 7 week's break from Pegasys. These weeks were a pure bliss <3. I started again 1 week ago have taken one more jab yesterday and will then try to settle on once every third week.
I was on 480 when I started my "holiday" and felt miserable. When I was checked after 7 weeks it was 830 . I don't know by now and and my next check will be in a month, but I take great care about how my body reacts.
