Hi everyone. Does anyone still suffer night sweats. Mine disappeared after starting Hydroxy but this week I've been suffering at night with them and have been soaked. Having said that I've got a herrendous cold and cough so maybe it's connected to that. Hope all is well with everyone. Pippa

Yes, I'm on rux and with every bad cold the nightsweats reappear to add to the misery and exhaustion. They do die down again as I get better but once continued for 6 weeks- the length the coughing went on. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Pippa, I get night sweats in batches and also some through the day. They are also accompanied by a rise in temp to between 37.5 to 38 but not above. I’ve ruled out the menopause now because the flushes related to that are different and had bloods checked so no answers there. I was rediagnosed with idiopathic erythrocytosis last year and not PV but the symptoms are still the same and I’m not on any meds or coughs and colds so can’t blame them.

I had a leg op 3 weeks ago but the sweats were present before that. I’m monitoring them just now and if they don’t go by the time I’ve recovered from my op, I’ll be going back to my gp. I will also be speaking to my haem at my appointment in December.

Sorry can’t give you answers. Kindest regards Aime xx😻😻

Yes I do. And they’re unrelated to any cold or flu, but they seem to come and go. And it’s not attributable to menopause I’m quite sure. But they’ll show up for nights in a row and then disappear. Annoying for sure.

I do get them since starting Pegasys. I had an early menopause so it's not that. However it's one of the things I'm prepared to put up with as my haenatologist is really pleased with my blood results at the moment.

Me too, I'm on interferon alpha, I'm et jak 2 + and I get non menopausal night sweats, I had a total hysterectomy 20 + years ago went through menopause years ago, so I know it's not that.... some weeks are worse than others, but I seem to get very cold during the day, then sweat at night !!! Cant win lol
