AFib, oh no...

Hello peeps,

Anyone taking a blood thinner for AFib, which one? Also anyone usung a blood thinner and aspirin? It seems to be a slippery slope.

Any experiences appreciated.

I have Polycythaemia, cause unknown and am treated by venesection. I have been prescribed Rivaroxaban to thin my blood for AF. I don’t take aspirin as I suffer from acid reflux. Hope this is some help.

I take clopidogrel a thinner/anti-platelet med. I have ET, and was on low-dose aspirin but stopped that when I started clopidogrel.

Me too but prior to Et diagnosis

I take both Aspirin and Warfarin and have done for many years. My first Hem put me on both as he explained they have differing effects on the platelets. I have ET and had two Tia's. So my experience it is fine to take both as long as recommended by a Hem. Best wishes Malaika

They Stopped Me using Aspirin,I Take Rivaroxaban ,had PV since 2010.Treated by Venesection. Had HA & CA 3 Stents fitted. Have an ICD Fitted now! All The Best Indigo42916
