Hi folks, well Boots the Chemist relented and have given me Medac Hydroxycarbamide. Spoke with my GPs and they now have put on my medication repeat Medac so hopefully the chemist will see this and prescribe in future. Hurrah!!!

Thank you all for the wonderful back up and for spurring me on to get a bit more bolshy.

Well done! It wasn't until your post that I looked at my own medication! I get mine from the hospital pharmacy after each visit, it is Medac, but I will check each time now.
