Just let him know you are around if he wants to talk otherwise no pressure to talk
Be there for him although do not pressure him in any way If He tries to pressure you in any way by using his condition in any way you may need to be firm and kind.
Sometimes people can try and use their condition to weaken your resolve, just because He has a Mental Health problem does not mean you will need to put up with unreasonable behaviour
