I was just wondering if this was normal or im a WEIRDO.
Many years ago whilst i was growing up i would pronounce every word i came across. After a few years this habit fizzled out quite a bit but never left completely. However, i never thought it was serious enough until recently. I have been pronouncing, silently inside of me, words i come across mostly when im out and about.
Why is this happrning to me?
Am i a WEIRDO?.
Thanks for your anticipated responses.

Still getting used to the rifle, I will be fixing the scope tomorrow and will set up my range. The rifle was full of oil and I just cleaned it out last week. It took over one hundred rounds to prepare the gun and make it accurate it took fifty rounds to stop it bouncing of target. Will set the range up tomorrow initially sixty feet so it does keep me busy, the silencer was also causing problems and needed clearing. That has now stopped smoking .
Definitely not!...or maybe I am too. I try to make words out of the registration letters on vehicles e.g....vry = very vary and so on. Just cant stop!!!
Seems im not alone. Give me great relief to know im not a weirdo.
Got ya back foxglove!
Hi Laykonyde
No, you're not a weirdo, when I see a word, I like to see how many words I can make from it. When my daughter was small, everytime we were in the car and she saw the motorway sign A12, she would always say it out.
It might be a little obsessive/compulsive, but lots of people are a little obsessive/compulsive. It could mean that your serotonin is a little low, especially if this habit bothers you, and since it just started up again after being gone for awhile. Covid has been kinda hard on lots of people. I take St. John's Wort to increase my serotonin because I have some slight depression and some OCD quirks, and it does help.
