Can these medications change personality?

citalopram, vyvanse, wellbutrin, xanax

Does anyone have experience or knowledge about medications changing personality and contributing to memory issues? My wife has been telling me how drastically out of character I have been for several months, and I don't seem to agree. Thanks!

Citalopram made me so poorly. Can’t really speak about the other listed meds though. Currently taking moderate dose Venlafaxine (Effexor XR). The memory issues and confused states I have are still problematic unfortunately. I take Aripiprazole (Abilify) too as recommended by pdoc. I personally feel overmedicated. But without meds I cannot seem to face doing anything including getting out of bed in a morning. I think we put a lot of pressure on pills to fix every issue within our lives however I do believe that the individual has to make the desired change from within his/her mind to achieve recovery. This sounds a bit cliché and off-piste but I hope that it provides some insight...
