What do people that can only afford once a month therapy sessions do if they need more help but can’t afford it? I can’t pay that much and have a deductable.
I am in the U.S.

Most of the people here are covered by the NHS in the UK so we do not pay for treatment. People can go private however the sessions can be payed by the patient private. The Doctors or Specialist have private Clinics and the treatments have to be paid for. to the same Doctor that works on the NHS

This is a great question because therapy can be so expensive. I use free online support groups. I google searched 'mental health support groups'. I literally found thousands all over the country, providing free or very cheap Zoom support meetings. And they are good meetings. The peer support feels amazing
Talk to your local hospital about options such as a social worker to qualify for a grant. Hope this helps
I’ve heard it may be possible to go to Universities or Colleges and seek out therapy from students majoring in Psychology for free. Especially the ones that are interns and need their hours . I know they are not therapist yet, but they are someone to talk to. That might be a possibility. 🤔
