Is anyone else struggling with anxiety every single day?, the moment you wake up. Is is making you so tired and everything in your body aches 😪 even pains 😫. Literally can't shake it off, any advice would be helpful. I would love to be hypnotised to get rid of it full stop 😆 made someone out there with a magic wand ✨ 😀 (yeh right i wish). Jokes aside, when I wake up, I think yeh its gone and then wham bam, the worries come flowing and that weird sensation 😢 its hard to explain. Writing this I've got a headache, so draining.

Have you tried to understand your Anxiety and where it came from, you need to approach the cause and itemise each cause you have and correct or sort out your problems, fears and concerns.

Take each Anxiety you have and splice and itemise each problem deal with the small bites, and move onto the next one if you get stuck or when that initial problem is sorted. Eventually you will gain confidence as you move through your concerns to open ground, your expectations will become more positive

Have you had talking therapy

I haven't had talking therapy, but I am looking into it. Im trying to find some local to me.

Are you living in America ?

I've always had anxiety but not that often. Lately with being isolated so much worrying and thinking too much has made it worse. I have trouble sleeping 😣

Takes me ages to drop off to sleep, but when I do the next morning I wake up and I still feel tired. Its definitely draining all this, I just have no motivation. Have you tried listening to calming music at night to help.

Same with me. That's what anxiety does. The tiredness is just one of the symptoms. I used to be energetic and now I wake up and go to bed tired. I'm looking for a new therapist who deals with anxiety and uses meditation. Look up CBT1 online. If you really have a problem they often use sleep restriction. You can also search for sleep restriction for insomnia. I started to do it but didn't stick with it. It works better with a therapist's guidance to keep track

I'm still struggling at the moment, even though when I've gone to bed, had a sleep the next day I wake up I want to go sleep, I did some mediation yoga this morning and then after that I started feeling anxious. Horrible feeling today.

I'm sorry to hear that. 😔

Try Mindfulness, Relaxation Technique, you can purchase books quite easily, you could also try Amazon or other book suppliers, boos cost about £10:00, This method helps relaxation give it a try. I sometimes use the Maxwell Technique, Mental Health and mix it with the Alexander Technique. Been doing these techniques now for over twenty five years

I have many CDs of guided meditation and also many books. Tara Brach and Jon Kabat-Zinn are especially good. You can find many others on sounstrue.com. I think you'd enjoy Tara Brach on YouTube. She does meditations and talks. Jon Kabat-Zinn started at MIT and has since started a large mindfulness place in Massachusetts. I have several of his books. My problem is procrastinating about doing it. I was using all this information and practicing until my mother needed full-time care and we had to move in with her. She passed away 6 years ago and I alone am the one procrastinating. It's been very difficult since she passed. I use Amazon for all my books and most things I order. I have for over 10 years. I'm well aware of where to get these books and am always exploring things on the internet. themindfulsteward.com/16-of...

I am a firm collector of books, I had a good selection of Mental Health books some on Kindle, although now I follow contributions on here as now I forget works because of my Short Term Memory. My Wife and I have built up a selection of picture books, for travel and history to bring back lost memories. At this time of my Life I enjoy the taste of past travels and enjoyable times visiting historic properties and their contents. It is difficult when I am remembering past events I used to enjoy. I am busy building a rifle range in an old garage so I can gain back my past memories and concentrations

I've had a lifelong anxiety disorder and after looking up dealing with anxiety/panic and buying books about it. I'm going to go to a therapist so I can have someone guide me through it. Reading doesn't seem to help much. I find information is a good thing but someone experienced and guiding you would get results.

Most or my travel, history and geography books are now picture books on where I have been on my travels. I am also a Life Member of The National Trust, English Heritage and year member of Historic Houses. the problem is we have been hit by this virus so we have been unable to visit different sites over the last ten months. It is important we keep busy so we also garden and look on various site just for picture content because of my Short Term Memory.

I recommend seeing someone to help. They can suggest ways to stop worrying and being anxious and that help memory.

Reading books is not a problem. I have a collection of mindfulness books and listen to all kinds of videos about mindful meditation. After I developed chronic insomnia and anxiety about sleeping prior to bedtime it's been a nightly occurrence. I just made an appointment for my anxiety, low self-esteem, and especially insomnia attempting it on my own just doesn't work. I advise anyone with a long history of negative thinking and anxiety to see a therapist who also uses mindfulness. You can go to psychologytoday.com to put the location you're looking for and it gives choices of therapy and the mental issue you need help with. I found dozens. So easy. Sometimes you need guidance from someone objective

Hi Jay sorry you are suffering with anxiety. I have been bad too lately . Doctor has given me sertraline , been on it for almost 6 weeks, starting to feel like anxiety is getting less. Have you tried mindfulness and mediation?

Hopefully you will feel fine soon, ive increased my sertraline. Ive tried things on YouTube to help me, I've completely cut social media and the news out of my life, with everything going on its making my anxiety worse and have constant headaches. I need to sort my sleep out too at night.

I must be getting strange these days, these Lockdowns I find keep me relaxed not seeing people does not bother me, I do miss not going on holiday, that is about all I miss. We get most of our shopping delivered these days, once a week. I read and work on the computer most days It is my job taking Pax out pm for His walks. My Wife has been cleaning carpets today. Busy Busy !!!
