Dear people do any of you have any clever suggestions on how to persuade someone suffering from narcissism to seek help for this debilitating and nasty condition?

Anything at all would be greatly appreciated.

I looked up what narcissism means. You might like this -

Excessive interest in or admiration of oneself, and ones personal appearance, selfishness, sense of entitlement, need for admiration of others, self centeredness, as in very young babies or as a mental disorder.

You can ask them to read this -

Be ready to run when they do not like it !!!

Haha,

I like to have fun,

All I can suggest is you approach their Doctor, however be careful. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The whole sickness ???? Personally A sniff of Narcissism I would go no contact and run for the hills preferably too Nepal. !!!!!!!!

You will generally not be able to protect yourself many sufferers have various levels of destruction they can inflict on others. Move on

SORRY

If you go on YOU TUBE look it up there are a vast reference on the subject. There are people who have suffered, Solicitors who have been to Court, Social Workers etc efc

Let us know what you decide, if it is a new relationship. move on before it gets started

Narcissism.is a turning into love for oneself,a total disregard of others feelings and in the Self-centred Narcisst ,no one matters in the world except there own self-centred ego,-and what I know to be true they cannot empathise nor see their self as others do,and pretty much nasty person ,who cannot relate to others-------virtually,cannot be helped or changed -----very sad but true.

I believe narcs are a product of the environment experienced in their early years. An environment in which they have been bullied, ignored, abused, belittled and generally made to feel worthless. When, one day, they escape their abusers they proceed to wreak revenge on everyone they encounter.

I just tried for 17 plus years to get my spouse to acknowledge. I have numerous broken bones ptsd trauma and so many terrors that occurred constantly as the narcissist caused constant chaos to harm our family and life and still. I’m 5 months no contact with a restraining order after a hospitalization for the abuse.

Thank you. I am taking the steps to be free of domestic abuse and that is one of the most important steps of anyone’s life that finds themself in a relationship where abuse is affecting their wellbeing. It is hard to leave your security and lose loved ones -but staying in the abuse affects ones entire body mind soul and the innocent children that can’t get out alone. Love to anyone that is needing out and feels impossible -I’m possible- just add that😉💞

Unfortunately our species comes in all shapes and sizes, not all of them perfect or even close. Who knows why it is like this but it seems we are stuck with it for the time being. Maybe one day in a far off time it will be different. Stay free and safe.
