My insomnia was exhausting but has more or less gone now and sleep well most nights, first few weeks were hard though. I try to meditate in bed doing breathing exercises and a body scan which helps. Hope yours settled soon.
I did that too but nothing helps it used to help me but not anymore
The other thing was taking a sleeping pill occasionally, GP prescribed zoplicone, or I found a half of a diazepam also worked. I try to take the smallest amount of any extra meds that I can get to work and only when desperate.

Look at the time you go to bed and rise in the morning, this can cause problems in peoples sleep Try and go to bed and get up at the same times
Try not eating just before bed time, allow upwards of two to three hours before sleep.
Try Mindfulness Relaxation Technique before sleep and when going to sleep You can purchase Mindfulness books explaining the Technique on Amazon.. Try not to play out thoughts of the day when trying to sleep, chewing over problems will keep you awake

Hi I am into my 9th night with out any sleep feel rotten.mine is due to loud tinnitus in both ears 24/7 my gp wonβt give me any thing because one of my meds helps sleep.but when tinnitus is a little better I sleep I take sleepytime infusion since drinking it I find they do help I passed them on to some I knew and know they use them.amazon sell them I hope they work for you.
