Could some one give me some advice I have been on escitalopram for about 9 days 1 week and 2 days to be exact all the other days I had a headache and I don’t today but I have a little anxiety I was taking this for anxiety as I have it bad is this normal could u advice and will it get better or do I need to ask the doctor to up the medication? As only on 5mg the lowest we can have

You need to allow five weeks for the drug to work. Also after four weeks or so?? your Doctor may increase the dose to a higher level, Give the medication time to work. Over the time you say you have been on your medication I would consider there has not been enough time for the medication to work
