Hi, Chewing gum is a good activity in itself even if not effective on dry mouth. Your brain is engaged on something else other than anxiety.
For the dry mouth symptoms, a visit to a pharmacist will give you the option of lozenges, tablets and a gel to relieve the dry mouth.
Time will tell when the meds kick
in & how effective they are. Hoping Sertraline works for you.
Can be caused by anticipation of food or sometimes if you are smoking. Sometimes if you are having problems with your teeth or sucking on sweets that can cause the mouth to salivate. When was the last time you saw your Dentist, Do you suck on your teeth ??
