Your Doctor can prescribe medications to reduce the fluid, although I feel if the bloating is bad you need your GP will check you out, Are you able to pass water ok ? You could call NHS Information and seek advice. Telephone 111 if you cannot get an appointment. They will advise. One other way is go to a chemist and go to the prescription counter, generally the chemist may be able to advise

Is there a particular medicine you would reccomend that would work best ?

Go to a Chemist they have various mixtures that calm the tummy, many you may not need a script for.

You are in the States, so these mixtures may have different names, than what they are called in the UK

One thing you need to remember, you get something from the chemist if the discomfort remains after several days it will be a good idea to see your Doctor, explain what you have been taking and for how long.

Hopefully your Bloating will improve in time for Christmas

We can have problems relating to medicines, in the UK they are called different names, the chemist will suggest the best one for you. He will relate to your problem.

We are not supposed to suggest any medications, generally we are not qualified to recommend, the Chemist know what your requirements are and will sell accordingly

Have you tired limiting sodium in your diet. High sodium intake causes you to retain water. Also increasing magnesium and potassium lowers sodium levels.

My diet is good. Lots of fruit and veggies and I don't over eat. Its when I go on paroxetine my stomach bloags out. If I didnt take any medication it would be back to normal.
