I am seeing my go again today after being assessed last week. Being referred to early intervention team as first psychosis. The thing is I just want to be on my own drive somewhere in the woods have my own space so I can just sit and stare. It’s amazing how quickly time flys when you do this so I have to be careful and never fully get what I need. How do I get this time. How do I stop getting narky with the kids housework too much for me to cope. I’m at a loss

If you need time to yourself, Time to Stare, can your Partner give you some me time or even find diversions or hobbies you can try to make some space.
If you are having an appointment to give a diagnosis they may have ideas to help you claim that silent time to calm your mood.
Surprising to say I come on the Internet to claim my own time. When it needs it we garden, I need to get outside to prune some trees although it is to cold at the moment so I will look at my books, they are full of pictures, some are very large and I have a micro class to look deeper into the page
If you have a spare room make it into a hobbies room, We use one of the bedrooms as a study and a corridor contains part of my Library.
We have a dog, we take Him out for walks in the countryside, or go down on the beech and let Him run and play.
If you live in the UK consider visiting NT or EE many have nice garden you can walk around good if you have no garden to walk around, We take out memberships and we do not need to purchase tickets, you will be able to visit over and over again, there you can sit down and relax in the fresh air.
If you need to take your children into parks etc, they can play as you relax ?
One technique you can try is learn to fish, that is another hobby, anything that will distract your mood, the list of things can go on and on
Doing thisg as a family may help, a delegation of housework may be a way for you to gain free time
