The World Health Organisation recognises World Mental Health Day on 10 October every year. This year's theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is suicide prevention.”

Here's some good advice from the Mental Health Foundation UK:

"Suicide prevention: WAIT - Prevention is something that we can all individually help with. A short conversation with another person can sometimes be enough to make the difference between life and death for them."

That's very useful information. I did not know that was even a thing. Although that could sometimes be difficult to assess since people can mask their feelings so well. But we could definitely look at behavior. Yeah and I agree, talking about such a difficult subject like suicide brings about more awareness, that can hopefully lead to prevention
