Hello butterfliespink I am a newbie as well. Joined a few days back. Have depression and anxiety as well. Know what it feels like to be lonely and I’m sorry you are feeling this way also. Hope here can give you support and make you feel less alone.

Hi, I've dealt with my depression and anxiety for a number of years. What helps me is just knowing what will trigger them, and then acting in response before I dwell on the subjects to much.

Hi! The depression and anxiety can make you feel so isolated. Do you have someone to talk to? I have a friend and a sister I can confide in when I'm really on the edge. I don't like "bothering" them...it makes me feel like a whiny crybaby, but it always gives me some perspective and the world doesn't feel so lonely. If you aren't seeing a therapist, you might want to consider it. That person can give you some tools so you can control some of your symptoms. Use every resource available. I hope that one of your resources is a psychiatrist. Meds can make a huge difference.

When I'm in the Black Hole, I try to remind myself that everything goes in cycles and I wait out the rough patches until I come back out. When you're at the bottom and have no energy to reach out is the time you SHOULD reach out! We're here! ☺

Hi hope you are having a better day today. I see from your profile that you have listed cerebral palsy among your interest areas. I noticed this as I have cp and anxiety. I wondered if you might happen to be like me.
