I'm new but not new, been using health unlocked since 2013 under a different name but I'm back.
Was dismissed from my job yesterday and having a hard time coping with this.
They managed to dismiss me on a technicality of not being capable in my role and this was just under 2 years of service.
They have never done anything like that before to anyone so there must be more too it but I'll never know. I think that's what's eating me up - I'm the 1st one and it's come as such a shock.
I now have 2 months off as that's my notice period so 2 months to find a job.
Can't believe this is happening and waiting to wake up

Well done for taking a brave step out of your comfort zone to reach out for help. Hopefully, you will find folks here are only too willing to come alongside you and share from their personal journeys and experiences.
You are obviously having a difficult time right now and I am concerned about your dismissal. If it was due to your MH issues, you should not be discriminated against under The Equality Act 2010, and suggest you speak to your union or ACAS acas.org.uk/index.aspx?arti... unfair dismissal.

Sorry to hear that you have lost your job, take a few days to let this sink and seek the appropriate support you need. It’s important that you remember that sometimes these things happen and it’s no reflection on you as an individual. Well done for opening up about it
Sorry to hear that. I know that feeling all too well. Lost my job start of January when I returned to work. Constructed dismissal because I didn't want to surcum to my boss's sexual harassment.
Nothing more scary than having your security ripped from under you. Unlike me that's at an age where it's difficult to find employment, I hope you are still young with plenty of possibilities to find new employment. I wish you good luck!
