I’m not even sure what to say

I have friends that I can reach out to but I honestly don’t want to exhaust my options. I don’t want the only thing we talk about being my problems. I feel like I shouldn’t even complain- things could be so much worse.

Yes the year is young but it’s been increasingly pressing, my family is undergoing some struggle & stress atm. I’m dealing with added stress at work and my existent issues are surfacing again. I’ve been off antidepressants for 3 years maybe ? I think my head has been a lot clearer and I’m not as much of a zombie anymore but the funks I go in to can get pretty bad. I haven’t relapsed into my old addictions yet but I’m so tired of feeling like ...this. I’ll feel incredible one day and then all of the sudden it’s back to the garbage zone. I have no idea what I’m doing with my life and I’m going to be 25 next year with no set life plan. I have somewhat of an idea of what I would like to do with my life but I’m honestly unsure I’m smart enough to pursue a degree.

I have so much I need to figure out, and I think the weight is finally getting to me. Not to mention my weight- bc ofc im a fool with an eating disorder I cant kick. I’ll be decent for awhile, eating twice a day at the very least sometimes even 3. Lately it’s been a struggle, I cry every time I make myself eat. I stress over what I eat. I hate food.

man— I just hate myself

Hi mimette and welcome to this caring forum. Things sound very difficult for you at the moment. Are you receiving any support with family and work issues? You are still young and have time on your side to make plans for the future. If you decide not to do a degree, there are other career options. Colleges are very good with giving support/ discussing career options. Some counselling may help you explore the possibilities. Things will get better, take one step at a time and you will get there. Are you receiving support from your doctor or from a counsellor to help you with your eating disorder? You do not say which country you are from, but the following website maybe helpful to you [UK based].---

Beat/ The UK's Eating Disorder Charity

Also, please see the pinned post section on the screen for more helpful information. Are any other forum members able to help mimette, please? Keep posting and take care. Thank you and best wishes.

I know how you feel you do not wish to run on others concerns, eventually they may push your problem back in your face, possibly consider discussing how you feel with your GP. You have had treatment before and possibly you need to consider what would be beneficial in your case.

If you see your GP make out a list of your concerns and that will help you remember what you want to discuss
